The name goes into the enquiry for you. Say where it goes and how big, and the drawing comes back before anything is booked.
What it means
The phoenix of Japanese tattooing, the ho-o, comes from Chinese myth, where it appears in times of peace and good rule. It is a different bird from the Greek phoenix that burns and rises from its own ashes, although most people now wear either for rising after something that should have ended them.
Both readings are real. They just come from opposite ends of Eurasia, and it helps to know which one you mean.
