Cross and Angel Tattoo Designs

Crosses plain and wound with a rose, wings, praying hands and a rosary. Nine drawings and four on skin.

Every tattoo image on this site is a generated illustration. None of it is work by this artist and none of it records a client result.

Worth knowing before you choose

These are the designs people ask for most often in this country and the ones most often rushed. Two things are worth deciding before the needle rather than after. The first is size against detail: a rosary and a pair of praying hands carry a great deal of fine line and stipple, and fine work packed into a small piece closes up as it heals and again over the years, so a design like that wants room or it wants simplifying. A plain cross or a dotwork one holds at any size, which is why they still look right decades later. The second is that a cross is one of the few subjects a person almost never regrets and almost always wants somewhere visible, which puts it on forearms, wrists and necks. Those are the placements that fade fastest in sun and the ones hardest to cover for work, so it is worth being deliberate rather than convenient about where it goes.

Or describe what you actually want

None of these has to be it. Say what is closest, what you would change, where it goes and roughly how big, and the drawing comes back before anything is booked.
